This is a very sad day for Eddie and I........Lizzie is gone, she has been leaving us a little each day this week, we took her to the vet three time. this week.....but today was her last visit, he told us it would be the best thing for her....he gave her the shot and she laid her little head on my arm the way she went to sleep many many nights.....but this will be the last time, she is now in her finial resting place and to have to see Eddie dig that was so hard and putting her there was too, we put most of her little toys in there with her and wrapped her in her blanket. Eddie and I are trying to hold on......but it is so lonely around here, we miss her so very much, she has a place in our hearts that only she will ever have, we both Love her sooooo much. We need all the Prayers we can get.

Oh, Bopeep, I am praying for you in your mourning. We have a friend who is single, and her dog got ill and died just a few days ago, a number of years before his breed normally does. We have also had to have a dog put to sleep at the age of 14, after she had strokes and couldn't walk. She already had hearing loss. It's still a tough decision. We know it was the right one, and the vet assured us of that.
