MONDAY

As I said in my last post, Friday was Caroline and Eddie's birthday, so I will share a few of those pictures with you, the first is all the kids setting at their little table in the living room, next is our DS, Jason helping in the kitchen, he is such a good son, husband and Daddy, then a picture of Lori, Caroline and Pearl dressed up in princess dresses.

Amanda found a house today that they will be renting, actually the church he will be pastoring is renting it, but they got to pick out one that suited their needs. It is going to be sooooo good to have them only an hour and half away and not 6 hours away.

Eddie and I had a quiet day today, we really didn't get much of anything done, I fixed country ham and rice for supper, we had some rice left so I now have a rice pudding in the oven, it is a recipe from one of Paula Deans' cookbooks and we both really love it.
JOHN 3; 3
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

So, it's your daughter, her husband and their children who are moving closer to where you live?

That part of your kitchen looks similar to mine. I have a sink with a window above it, and a rounded shelf on each side of the sink. Our cupboards are old and dark colored, though.

Happy New Year!

I have one of Paula Deen's cookbooks too and it has many good recipes in it. I'll have to look and see if mine has the rice pudding recipe.

Thank you for your prayers, and I hope you and your family have a blessed new year!

Miss Linda, It is nice to just have some down time and we really enjoyed it.

Sue, It is our youngest son and his wife and 4 children that are moving. That picture was taken at our oldest sons house, it was the house our daughter-in-law's mother grew up in.

Bo, Thanks for your visit.
I wish you a Happy & Blessed New Year.

Sharon, Thanks for your visit, that recipe is in "The Lady & Sons, Too" book and is called Old-Fashioned Rice Pudding.
I will continue to Pray.
You And your family have a Blessed New Year.
