FINISHED SEWING PROJECTS

I have gotten a couple things finished in the last couple days. I got the fabric for the apron at Walmart, I have always loved sunflower fabric and when I saw this I had to have some, I also love making aprons and really like the chef apron, I have been putting one big pocket across the front, but on this one I made two small pockets, I think I like the way they look. The birth announcement is for the Grandchild of a lady I work with, it is small and should be a pretty good size for his room.

GRANDKIDS

As you know the kids were here last weekend for Noah's birthday...we took this picture....or at least tried to take it......it is really hard to get 6 kids to stay still to snap a picture...but we did get this one. They are such sweet little kids....Grandkids are sooooooo sweet.....but then sooooooo are kids.

WONDERFUL CHURCH SERVICE

I have been kicking myself all day.....for not taking my camera to church this morning. I went to church at Holly Hill PCH this morning, they had Bible School this past week and this morning was their program...it was great...those kids really had learned a lot this week and had a great time too. They had a good time learning the lessons each night and they also had a project they worked on, it was raising money for the building fund, they really raised a lot of money for their church. But at the end of the service this morning they had five or six of those precious little children give their hearts and lifes to the Lord Jesus Christ...that was the very best thing to come out of the whole week.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NOAH

Yesterday was Noah's birthday, he is now "2" . All the kids were here, we had a good time. We had hamburgers and hotdogs, french frys (using the potatoes that Eddie Van & Pearl helped pickup), we also had tomatoes from the garden. I made a blueberry cobbler, that we picked from our bush, it was really good and when Amanda washed the dishes after supper she washed the pan it was baked in,,yes we eat all of it. It sure was good, it was still warm and we had ice cream to go on it.

PATTERNS, PATTERNS, PATTERNS

One of my friends from work found these setting beside the dumpster, they were in a plastic storage container, there are jackets, dresses, pants, shorts, blouses, etc, etc. Most of them are my size, I was like a kid on Christmas, she brought them to work this morning and said I could have all of them, it sure was a long day....when I got home I looked & looked at them, some of them are older but most of them are something I would enjoy making. GOD IS SOOOOO GOOD.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BOBBY & LEE

Some friends of ours had their 40th anniversary last Sunday and as usual I am a day late and a dollar short (ok may be more than a day late & probably more than a dollar short), anyway I made this banner for them. I work with them so I will take it to them tomorrow. By the way that is the way Lee spells her name, as she says just like a boy.
I have been kind if busy lately and haven't done much with my blog...I have been stopping by to check up on everyone though, I will try to do better this week.

GRANDKIDS :D

These pictures were all taken a little over a week ago, but since I didn't do any blogging until a couple days ago I thought I would share them now. Pearl's birthday is June 17, she will celebrate as many times as possible, just bring on the cake and candles. I made a banana cake and she was happy. Eddie Van and Pearl helped Pawpaw dig potatoes on Saturday before they left, they really enjoyed it and got really dirty and then ran through the sprinklers before taking a bath. I am not sure how they slept that night, but this was on Thursday night....don't you wish you could sleep like that?

GOD BLESS YOUR 4th

I Pray your 4th has been a Blessed one. I have been off work this week and I can really say I have enjoyed myself. I haven't really done much, including blogging, but I have been on Facebook a lot, they have a new game on there called Farm Town, I have to say it is very addictive...but a lot of fun.

Jason ask me to make these sock monkeys for a lady he works with, her daughter in having a little girl and this will he his gift to her.
