I want to say Thank You for the Prayers....for our son and his family....they are doing good.....and with the help from God and his children they are going to make it through this.... they have come a long way since the fire...... Life

Sorry I haven't posted in a while.......spring is coming and we have been outside a lot.....I have also been getting some sewing done.........
But then last Tuesday.. I got a call at work ....saying my son's house was on fire :(....not a call anyone wants to get.......it was really bad......But we are soooo very Blessed ...no one was home.....I Prayed all the way there that everyone was out of the house....the house was a total loss........Please keep them in your Prayers.........however people have really shown them God's Love through them.........

Homemade Rolls

Eddie saw a picture and the ingredients for these on a site he visits......the directions were not there..so I looked at recipes for rolls....I am happy with the way they turned out......and Eddie Loves them.........

My thumb is still hurting :( ......I am wearing the brace after I get off work........it is too hard to wear it at work......I am not sure if I told you but the first day I wore it at work I stuck a needle in my finger....just the nail....it has just about grown out now.....

One of the ladies I work with went to the doctor Monday...the doctor said she had bronchitis.....she came back to work Tuesday..she should have stayed home...but you know how that is......she was no better Friday....Saturday she went to urgent care...they said she had pneumonia ..and sent her to the hospital...I talked to her today..she said she is a little better..but will be in there a while more days...Please keep her in your Prayers....

What A Day

I went to the doctor last Friday....about my thumb...it has been hurting bad of a while now.....she said I had messed up the tendon and put me in this brace.......I don't like wearing it...but I am wearing it .......and am on prednisone....I take the last one tomorrow......
This morning I had some things I needed to do in town...so got up a little early and got all the running done........stopped to get some lunch to bring home........and noticed one of the tires was low.......went to the gas station...put four quarters in the air machine...... lonely to let more air out .....then in........went in and ask if anyone could help......when the guy came out ...just as he knelt down to put the air in the machine cut off :( .......so I had to put four more quarters in.....he was really nice.......after he got the air in that tire he checked the other tires........told me to be careful coming home........Thank The Good Lord I made it home just fine...... ..And to make the day a little better ...I decided to bake a cake....this is from a recipe that a friend of mine made a couple weeks ago.......it is pineapple.......easy to make...and Good !!!!

...She said it is better after it sets in the refrigerator a couple days....Eddie said it is already really really GOOD !!!!!!!!

GREAT AFTERNOON

We had a good time with Caitlyn & Caroline this afternoon....we shoot the BB gun....played on the swing set.....ate hamburgers and frys.......and had heart shaped donuts for dessert......played the DSI...then ate some popcorn.....Cailtyn did my hair......and she also made a hair bow for her hair...didn't take any pictures....I don't know why but didn't.....

Friends for Furnando & Chocolate Gravy

I made a couple friends for Furnando.......so now I have a highchair full of Monkeys...... My Grandmother used to make this...we always called it chocolate gravy....it is made like chocolate pudding........this was our treat of tonight.............It is served with toast....toast that is cooked in an iron skillet with lots of butter.......

This is Furnando the watch monkey........I made hime today.......I have been ask to be at the local artisan show in May ...this is going to be one of the things I will be selling...at least I hope to I can sell a couple of these.....along with some more of the things I enjoy making......

Chicken & Rice

This is what is left of the pot of chicken & rice soup I cooked for supper.....it has been snowing and sleeting here today......this morning at work it started snowing a little.....I started thinking how good a pot of chicken & rice would be.....it stopped snowing but it was still cold...then around 3:30 it started snowing again.......we left a couple minutes till 4:00...it snowed all the way home......then it turned mostly to sleet......while I was cooking the chicken Eddie said if it didn't hurry up and get done he was is to starve to death.....will he didn't and as much as he ate he should be good for a while.......

Hi Ya'll

This is another one of my CHRISTmas gifts....and ok I just couldn't resist saying Hi Ya'll...this is a Paula Deen pie pan......I just Love It !!!!!!!!... I had a mix for a chocolate cheese cake...so here it is.................

................... I didn't let it set long enough....but it is good anyway......

I also got the loaf pan to match...I am going to enjoy these for a long time......

HAPPY NEW YEAR

This is one of my CHRISTmas gifts.....an MP3 player.........I enjoyed it today at work....I had downloaded about 70 songs.....then tonight I downloaded more ..I think I have a little over 100 songs on it now........ You see this little cord...that is what you plug into the computer to charge it with and also to download the songs...& pictures ....will I lost it Saturday...I spent about 2 hours looking for it..I finally found it ...about six inches from where I had laid it...it had fallen onto the chair...the chair was black just like the cord.....

Anyway I didn't want to spend more time looking for this little thing...so..I made this pouch ..with a pocket just for this little cord.......

I made the pouch so I can wear it around my neck......looks like a necklace..........

And when not in use I can roll the earphones up and out of the way.............

Today was our first day back to work sense CHRISTmas...it went pretty good.........but the first day back always seems like a long day....we had to get a repairman to come this afternoon to fix our heating system.......Thank God he came and fixed it........it messed up yesterday afternoon so we went the night without heat....but it wasn't too cold......but tonight is going to be different...so we are Thankful that he could come so quick.......
