See What I Got Today:) & My Foot:(....

My sister saw these and saved them from being thrown in the trash........

There is 14 of these squares.......

Each of these have 7 squares .......

And 7 of each of these..................

2 of the duck squares, 1 of the top square and 2 of the bottom squares

My sister made this cute cup cozy....I Love IT...

I went out the back door yesterday afternoon and turned my foot over....they had graded the lot out back and I guess I stepped in a soft spot.....and turned my foot over....it started swelling and hurting...I iced it and kept it up a while..then it was time to go home....I iced it and kept it up until time for bed...it was pretty swollen this morning but I went to work...at lunch I called and got an appointment with the doctor......she took x-rays and said it isn't broken but is sprang...she said to stay off it, keep it elevated, keep it iced and take it easy the rest of the week.

Oh, hon!! That is awful about your foot!! Make sure you follow doctor's orders..you don't want it to get worse! Make sure you get the paperwork from your job for worker's comp. You don't want to have to pay those doctor's bills yourself. At least you will now have time to do something with those great finds!! lol

I feel your pain. I severely sprang my left ankle about 3 years ago. My whole leg turned black from mid calf to 1/2 way down my foot.

I had to roll around in an office chair in the house cause my arms got so sore from trying to walk on crutches.

Get well soon!!!!

So sorry to hear about your foot! Praying that the swelling and pain go away soon!

The quilt blocks are SO pretty! Maybe you can keep your hands busy while resting with your foot up.

Your sister did a great job knowing you could make use of those squares.

I'm glad you said in your most recent post that you are healing.

Have fun in your bookmark making class.
