DESSERT

I wanted to share this recipe...I have been making to for years with fruit topping.....had an idea that it would be good with carmel sauce.....I was Right.....it is Good.......so here is the recipe..
Crust:
1 1/2 cup flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 stick and 2 tablespoons margarine
1 cup chopped pecans
Mix flour, sugar and margarine together. Add pecans. Press into the bottom of 13x9 pan and bake exactly 20 minutes in a preheated 350 degree oven. Let cool.
Filling:
1 8ounce package cream cheese
16 ounce container Cool Whip
2 cups powered sugar
Cream together cream cheese and sugar. Fold in Cool Whip and spread over crust. Chill.
Caramel Sauce:
1 stick butter
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Melt butter, add brown sugar and evaporated milk in saucepan over medium heat. Cook until bubbly, stirring constantly. Continue to cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Let cool. Then add 2 cup pecans and pour on top of the filling.
You can also use pie filling instead of caramel sauce...use the pie filling of your choice (Blueberry, Cherry, Strawberry) or what ever you like, just make the cream cheese filling and then pour the pie filling on top.
EPHESIANS 2

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
