I WANTED TO SHARE

These are a few of the goodies I put up this summer ....they are going to be good this winter. I just pickled the pepper Saturday, I had 4 pints of jalapenos and 5 pints of banana pepper, I cut them into rings, I did both of them from the same recipe......I can't wait to try them. I cut the banana peppers up first...then the hot ones......the jalapenos........I wore rubber gloves for the first 3 pints...had to take them off to get the banana peppers out of the water bath....thought...I could get by with out wearing them.............lets just say.....I am glad I wore them as long did......and should have kept them on........but it is okay now. I did the grape jelly a few weeks ago...it turned out really good.....I have 10 pints and 12 for the little 4 ounce jelly jars.....I realized I hadn't shared the pictures then I read thishttp://msredneck.blogspot.com/ and I have to say the deer Loved ours too.

Oooo, those peppers look so good! I love to put pepper vinegar on greens. The jelly is pretty, too.

You've been busy! Know you are going to enjoy all of the efforts of your labor this winter. Will be some very good eating.

Yes, the deer wiped ours out in 2 days. Hubby says he's going to get his muscadines second hand. (wink, wink).

Hi Bo! I didn't realize I was this far behind on your blog. You sure have been busy making lots of cool things, and you even had time to put some food by! Those jars look so pretty!

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my holiday cactus. I am tickled at how pretty and full it is.
